Ania Kyte
~ Ania Kyte, the creator behind TurtleBeads Studio, has been a
glass lampwork bead artisan since 2002.  She also makes
jewelry using her own beads, combined with pearls, crystals,
and silver. All the work you see here has been hand-crafted by
her.

~ Ania uses a very basic set up to create her beads: a HotHead
torch, propane gas, high quality glass from Italy, Germany,
and Japan.   All her beads are kiln-annealed overnight for
strength and durability. 
 
~ Currently living in the beautiful province of British
Columbia, Canada, Ania also takes care of her son, little
Alexander, her husband, their house, two turtles, and two huge
tropical aquariums.  In addition, she works as a Research
Consultant, organizes a local monthly bead group, teaches
lampworking and jewelry-making classes, and of course -- she
makes beads!
